Gold Medals

• Four students of our college –Mr. Karthik Prabhu, Ms. Pratheeksha, Ms. Shreedevi and Ms. Shrustishree of III B.com secured gold medals in Financial Accounting by securing full marks in V & VI Mangalore University Semester Examination.

Rajya Puraskar Award

• 7 students from Rovers and Rangers Association – Rover Jaswanth Kunder , Hareesha Holla K, Karthikeya Bhat and Rangers Nishchitha.S, Sowjanya D Shetty, Archana and Pooja S Naik of III B.Com have successfully completed Rajya Puraskar Examination and received Rajya Puraskar Award(Governor Award ).

• L/CPL Varshitha Shetty of II B.Com has attended RDC II held at Air Force Station Bangalore from 4th December 2019 to 13th December 2019.
• L/CPL Shashank of II B.C.A has attended PRE-TSC II held at Vijayapur from 22-07-2019 to 31-07-2019
• Goutham Prabhu B of III B.com, got NPTEL Online Certification (Funded by Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India) for the course named ‘Decision Making Using Financial Accounting’
• Sandhya K and Akshitha C of II M.Com were invited by Mukta Channel for interview related to cricket on February 2020 The achievements in sports by Sandhya K of II M.Com was published as an article PRATIBHASIRI in udayavani news paper on January 23, 2020 . Sandhya K of II M.Com was also falicitated by Mahishamardhini Temple Bagwadi, Shri Mahalingeshwara Temple Haradi and Shri Vaidyanateshwara swa-sahaya sangha Salikeri.

Our college has got 4X100 meter standard track, Cricket ground with pavilion, 3 Lawn Tennis court and 2 Badminton wooden courts.

Sports Achievements:

Mangalore University Representation:

• Mr.Ashik S Shetty (III B.Com), Mr. Swarnaraj Narayan Salian (III B Com ), Mr.Adarsh U S (III B.C. ) and Santhosh (I B.A ) –represented Mangalore University Men’s Cricket Team in the South Zone Inter University Tournament organized by Mysore University from 28 Nov 2019 to 11 Dec 2019 at Mysore.9
• Sandhya K (II M.Com), Mamatha M (II M.Com), Akshitha C (II M.Com), Ashritha (II M Com), Varshitha Shetty (II B Com )– represented Mangalore University Women’s Cricket Team in the South Zone Inter University Tournament organized by Sri Venkateshwara University, Tirupathi from 2nd to 7th Dec 2019.
• Mr.Nagesh Puranik (II M.Com) — Represented Mangalore University Chess Team in the South Zone Inter University Tournament organized by Gandhigram University, Tamilnadu from 22nd to 25th Dec 2019.
• Mr.Hrithik of II B. A represented Mangalore University Men Kho Kho team in South Zone Inter University Kho Kho tournament organized by Kuvempu University Shivamogga on 23rd to 26th Dec 2019, secured Silver Medal and also represented Mangalore University Kho Kho Team in All India Inter University Kho Kho Tournament and secured Silver Medal.

Swimming:

• Our college Men’s swimming team secured Third Place in Overall Championship of Mangalore University Inter Collegiate Swimming Competition organized by Govt. First Grade College Vittal.


Individual Medals in Swimming Competition

• Skanda Kumar of II B.Com has secured Bronze medal in 400mtr Free Style.
• Revanth P of II B.Com has secured Bronze medals in100mtr and 50mtr Back stroke.
• Shrayan I B.Com has bagged Bronze medal in 100mtr Breast Stroke.

Team Events:

Swimming team events, our students have shown tremendous performance and won Gold medals in 4*100mtr Middle Relay and 4*100mtr Free Style Realy, with that they have managed to get Bronze medal in 4*200mtr Free Style Relay in Inter District Swimming Competition 2019-20 , organized by Jai Durga Swimming Club *Kadekar, Udupi,.

• Revanth P of II B.Com has Secured Gold Medal in 50mtr Back Stroke.
• Skanda Kumar of II B.Com has Secured Silver Medals in 50mtr Butter fly and 50mtr Breast stroke.
• Shrayan of I B.Com has Secured Bronze Medal in 50mtr Breast Stroke.


In Team Events our team has bagged Gold medal in 50mtr Middle Relay and silver in 50mtr Free style Relay.

Athletics

• Ms. Deekshitha of II B.Com has secured Silver Medal in 400 mtr Hurdles competition in Inter District Amateur Athletic Meet 2019-20 held on 23, 24 and 25th August 2019 at Ajjarakadu Stadium, Udupi. With that she also won Bronze medals in 100mtr and 400 mtr Hurdles in 39th Mangalore University Inter Collegiate and Differently Able Children’s Athletic Championship 2019-20 organized by Alva’s College Moodbidri on 9th and 10th October 2019.
• Mr. Arjun of III B.Com has secured IV Place in Hammer Throw in 39th Mangalore University Inter Collegiate and differently able children’s athletic championship 2019-20 organized by Alva’s College Moodbidri on 8th 9th and 10th October 2019.
• Ms. Divya Jyothi of I B.Com has secured Silver Medal in Javelin Throw in 39th Mangalore University Inter Collegiate and differently able children’s athletic championship 2019-20 organized by Alva’s College Moodbidri on 8th 9th and 10th October 2019.
• Mr. Vinay of III B.Com has secured V Place in Pole Vault in 39th Mangalore University Inter Collegiate and differently abled children’s athletic championship 2019-20 organized by Alva’s College Moodbidri on 8th 9th and 10th October 2019.

POWER LIFTING

• Mr. Karthik of II B.A. has secured Bronze Medal in 59kg weight category junior bench-press event organized by Karnataka State Power Lifting Association and Power Lifting Association Mangalore held at Sri Gokarnanatha Temple Hall Kudroli on 8th and 9th November 2019
• Mr. Sampath of I B.Com has secured Gold Medal in 83kg weight category junior bench-press event organized by Karnataka State Power Lifting Association and Mangalore Power Lifting Association Mangalore held at Sri Gokarnanatha Temple Hall Kudroli on 8th to 9th November 2019

Wrestling

• Mr. Deepak of III B Com has Secured Bronze Medal in 57kg Weight Category in Mangalore University Inter Collegiate Wrestling Championship Organized by Govt. First Grade College, Car Street, Mangalore on 26 and 27 September 2019, with that he also secured Gold medal in Udupi District level Dasara Sports and games 2019-20 organized by Udupi District Administration, District Panchayath and Dept of Youth Empowerment and sports Udupi on 10th September 2019
• Mr. Shashanth of III B Com has Secured Bronze Medal in 97 kg Weight Category in Mangalore University Inter Collegiate Wrestling Championship Organized by Govt First Grade College, Car Street, Mangalore on 26 and 27 September 2019.
• Mr. Prajwal of II B Com has Secured Bronze Medal in 70kg Weight Category in Mangalore University Inter Collegiate Wrestling Championship Organized by Govt First Grade College, Car Street, Mangalore, with that he also won Gold Medal in Udupi District level Dasara Sports and Games Competition 2019-20 organized by Udupi District Administration, District Panchayath and Dept of Youth Empowerment and sports Udupi on 10.09.2019 ,Secured Bronze Medal in Mysore Zonal Level Dasara Wrestling Competition 2019-20 organized by Mangalore District Administration, Mahanagara Palike, and Dept of Youth Empowerment and sports Mangalore on 21 and 22 September 2019.
• Mr. Rohith of II B Com has secured Bronze medal in 74 kg Weight Category in Mangalore University Inter Collegiate Wrestling Championship Organized by Govt First Grade College, Car Street, Mangalore, secured Gold medal in Udupi District level Dasara Sports and games 2019-20 organized by Udupi District Administration, District Panchayath and Dept of Youth Empowerment and sports Udupi on 10.09.2019 and also won Bronze Medal in Mysore Zonal Level Dasara Wrestling Competition 2019-20 organized by Mangalore District Administration, Mahanagara Palike, and Dept of Youth Empowerment and sports Mangalore on 21 and 22 September 2019.
• Mr. Amoda of II B Com has secured Bronze Medal in 86 Kg Weight Category in Mangalore University Inter Collegiate Wrestling Championship Organized by Govt First Grade College, Car Street,Mangalore, secured Gold Medal in Udupi District level Dasara Sports and games 2019-20 organized by Udupi District Administration, District Panchayath and Dept of Youth Empowerment and sports Udupi on 10.09.2019. And also secured Bronze Medal in Mysore Zonal Level Dasara Wrestling Competition 2019-20 organized by Mangalore District Administration, Mahanagara Palike, and Dept of Youth Empowerment and sports Mangalore on 21 and 22 September 2019.
• Mr. Ashish of II B Com has secured Silver Medal in 79 kg Weight Category in Mangalore University Inter Collegiate Wrestling Championship Organized by Govt. First Grade College, Car Street, Mangalore on 26 and 27 September 2019.
• Mr. Akshath of II B.Com has secured Gold medal in Udupi District level Dasara Sports and games 2019-20 organized by Udupi District Administration, District Panchayath and Dept of Youth Empowerment and sports Udupi on 10.09.2019. With that he also secured Silver Medal in Mysore Zonal Level Dasara Wrestling Competition 2019-20 organized by Mangalore District Administration, Mahanagara Palike, and Dept of Youth Empowerment and sports Mangalore on 21 and 22 September 2019.

Rural Womens Games

• Our College Girls’ Volleyball Team secured Runner’s Up place in Mangalore University Inter Collegiate Rural Womens Games Competition Organized by Govt First Grade College Koteshwara on 19th Feb 2020.

Kho-Kho

• Our College Men Kho- Kho Team secured Runners Up in Udupi Taluk Level Dasara Sports and Games 2019-20 organized by Udupi Zilla Panchayath and Dept of Youth Empowerment and sports Udupi on 10.09.2019
• Our College Men’s Kho Kho Team Secured First Place in Preliminary Round in Mangalore University Inter Collegiate Men’s Kho- Kho Tournament 2019-20 Organized by Our College on 27th and 28th January 2020.

Women’s Cricket

• Our College Women’s Cricket team secured Championship in Mangalore University Inter Collegiate Women’s Cricket Tournament 2019-20 organized by School Of Social Work Roshni Nilaya Mangalore on 6th March 2020.

Men Cricket

• Our College Men Cricket Team has secured Runners up position in Mangalore University Inter Collegiate Cricket Tournament for Men (Udupi Zone) organized by Our College on 25th Feb to 05th March 2019

Staff Achievements:

• Mr Daniel Monteiro, Guinness Record holder, a well known philatelist, and office staff won Silver Medal in International Level Philatelic Exhibition held at Singapore. He also won Gold Medal in National Level Philatelic Exhibition held at Mumbai.
• Mrs Tweeny Maria Rodrigues, Department of Commerce got ‘ELITE and SILVER MEDAL’ in NPTEL Online Certification (Funded by Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India) for the course named ‘Cost Accounting’
• Mr Ganapathi Bhat K, Principal got Online Certification from IGNOU (Funded by Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India) for the course named ‘Library Automation and Digitization’

Certificate Courses

Drama and Yakshagana Club

• 18 students are trained and certificates are provided to them. Their talent will be exhibited on college day and council day.


Computer Networking

• Net Sim is designed to let students spend their time on building and de-bugging their code/algorithm rather than learning how to use the software.
• Enables long duration projects to be carried out as part of UG/PG term project or Research.
• In-built packet animator allows for visualization of data and control packet flow

• Those who have scored 90% and above have got fee concession
• Various Scholarships are provided to the students who score highest marks in various subjects.
